Parts of this service have been online since October 2025. This TTC website launched in June 2026.
I take great care to keep line and run information accurate, but it’s provided for reference and shouldn’t be treated as a source of truth for real-world assignments or operating conditions. TTC operators: please consult your employer for information and instructions that apply to your work.
Nope. transitspotter doesn’t offer browsable vehicle history. Limited “Last Assigned" information is available as a byproduct of internal vehicle service logging.
Sort of! Depot transfers have been tracked since September 2026, so earlier moves aren't recorded. The date shown is a best estimate and may change occasionally and isn't necessarily when the vehicle arrived.
Transfers are picked up automatically from internal vehicle service logging. Provisional transfers can change constantly throughout the day, and can appear for various different reasons as tracking methods applied. I aim for them to be just as accurate, but there’s no guarantee!
Because it’s all automatic, it works differently from sites like FleetSighter ⧉ or CPTDB ⧉, so dates may not match. Unless noted otherwise, none of it is manually reviewed, and to keep the data consistent, it can’t be manually edited either.
Some data from past schedule feeds is stored internally, but browsing previous service periods isn’t currently supported. This site focuses on the current service period; it isn’t an archival website. Other services, such as TransSee ⧉, may have historical information available for a fee.
Something may be off on this end, on theirs, or both. Please check official TTC sources before relying on the information. Like all Go by transitspotter services, this site is provided “as is” for exploration and reference, and shouldn’t be used for navigation. The full warranty disclaimer is on the About ↗ page.
Hii, yep! However, I frequently work with other developers and teams whose algorithms and software help enrich the data you see here.
There are currently no plans to add other agencies. There are plenty of other sites worth exploring, though! Try Catenary Maps ⧉, TransSee ⧉, Transit55 ⧉, or Pantograph ⧉ for coverage elsewhere.
Yes! Join the Discord ⧉ community to share ideas, offer help, or talk about the project.
Please be thoughtful about how you use, interpret, and share what you find here. Operational data doesn’t always tell the whole story, and details that seem harmless on their own may become identifying when combined with other sources. Explore and discuss TTC service with respect for the people involved, and don’t use the site’s data to single people out or make unsupported claims. Read the full terms in the Responsible Use ↗ guidelines.
